Terms and Conditions for Corporate Perfect Gift Certificates

People using the Perfect Gift Certificates™ systems acknowledge that the following conditions of use shall apply and they agree that they are bound by the following terms and conditions.

These conditions are for the information of corporate users. Our general Terms & Conditions and our Disclaimer shall also apply and these should be read in conjunction with this document.

Copyright © 1996-2006 is held by Best Connections Pty Limited (The Company) trading as Perfect Gift Certificates™. The names; de Groots™, Perfect Gift Certificates™ are proprietary product names. Reproduction or distribution without written permission is prohibited. All rights reserved.

GIFT CERTIFICATE PURCHASES

The following constitutes the whole of the terms & conditions for the supply of gift certificates. There shall be no variation except in writing and all purchases made for products and services on the website Perfect Gift Certificates™ shall be made by these conditions.

1. Gift certificate delivery
All manual orders for gift certificates received before 2pm Australian E.S.T. will be dispatched that day. We are not responsible for any delays in delivery of certificates sent through Australia Post or any other chosen delivery service.

2. Goods & Services Tax
There is no GST included in the face value of the certificate. The GST is applied to the product which purchasers buy with their gift certificate. Any fees or delivery charges may contain GST and where this is applied The Company shall supply a tax invoice.

3. Online credit accounts

  • Businesses with online credit facilities will be given a user name & password to allow them to purchase certificates with a face-value of up to $500 at any time – amounts over this value should be applied for to The Company.
  • Gift certificates ordered online will be sent immediately by an emailed PDF. An email giving details of the purchase will be sent the nominated email address. Purchase details for the previous twelve months are available online.
  • Invoices for gift certificate purchases will be sent to the nominated email address twice a month and are payable within fourteen days.
  • The Company reserves the right to cancel issued gift certificates where the purchaser fails to settle their account within The Company’s terms.

4. Purchase credit
The holder of a Universal Gift Certificate™ may credit its face value to their online account with Perfect Gift Certificates™. These credit funds may be used at any time by the certificate holder to make a purchase from the Perfect Gift Certificates™ website. The funds in this account never expire. The whole or part of the certificate’s value cannot be redeemed for a cash payment. Where a supplier is unable to supply a service then a certificate for another supplier can be issued.

5. Complaints

  • Any problem experienced with a gift certificate, payment, acceptance or other operational matter should be reported to us at: service@perfectgiftcertificates.com.au so we may resolve any difficulties as promptly as possible.
  • The Company acts as an agent for suppliers of experiences sold on this site. Any complaint about the experience purchased should be taken to the supplier in the first instance.
  • The Company supplies all information about restaurants and lifestyle experiences ‘as is’ and makes no warranty or representation concerning the quality of service given by individual suppliers. No representation is made as to the completeness or accuracy of the information it contains. In particular, you should be aware that this information may be incomplete, may contain errors or may have become out-of-date.
  • Where a certificate holder is unable to resolve a dispute with a supplier, The Company undertakes to use its good offices to resolve the dispute.

6. No Liability
The Company shall not be liable for any misdescription by any supplier nor any other act, including negligence, of any service provider or other third party.

7. Business is conducted in New South Wales
All transactions with The Company shall be deemed to have been conducted in the state of New South Wales and under the laws of New South Wales and any legal proceedings shall be commenced solely in the courts of New South Wales.
